Before painting, we move and cover furniture, fill small holes, sand rough spots, and prime where needed. Then we apply two finish coats. Every project begins with a detailed walkthrough and color consultation. We protect your furniture, floors, and fixtures with premium drop cloths and painter's tape. Our process includes thorough surface preparation — filling holes, sanding rough spots, and priming where needed — before applying two coats of premium paint for a uniform, durable finish.

What Your Interior Estimate Includes
After an in-person walkthrough, you get a free written estimate for the rooms and surfaces you choose. Ask if you would like it itemized room by room.
Usually included:
- The surfaces you choose: walls, ceilings, trim, doors, closets
- Moving and covering furniture, covering floors, and masking edges
- Taking down pictures, mirrors, and curtains in the rooms being painted
- Minor surface prep: filling nail holes, sanding rough spots, spot-priming
- Two finish coats of Benjamin Moore or Sherwin-Williams paint
- Daily tidy-up and a final walkthrough with you
Quoted separately when needed:
- Larger drywall or plaster repair, such as water-stained ceilings, big holes, or cracked plaster. We do this in-house.
- Trim repair or replacement. We do this in-house too.
- Wallpaper removal (see Wallpaper Installation)
Not included: moving pianos or other very heavy items.
What changes the price: room size and ceiling height, the number of colors, the amount of trim and doors, the condition of the walls, large color changes (dark to light can need extra coats), and whether rooms are furnished. Your free estimate gives you the price for your rooms.
Getting Your Home Ready
A little preparation on your side keeps the project on schedule.
- Pack away small items, breakables, and valuables from the rooms being painted.
- Tell us about anything fragile or very heavy before we start.
- Keep pets and children out of work areas while we paint.
- Let us know about parking and alarm codes.
Our crew moves and covers the furniture and takes down pictures, mirrors, and curtains.
How Long an Interior Project Takes
A typical bedroom takes about one day. A full first floor usually takes three to five days. Ceiling height, the amount of wall repair, the number of colors, and drying time between coats can change that. Your estimate will include an expected schedule.
